How do I know a desk will actually suit my height?

Its adjustable range has to reach high enough to stand at and low enough to sit at - the two are different checks, not the same one. Every desk here is worked out against both on the sizing page.

Straight or L-shaped - how do I choose?

By the room, not the desk: a straight desk needs one clear wall run at least as wide as the desktop; an L-shaped desk needs an actual corner, with a real wall on both sides. A straight desk pushed into a corner does not become an L-shaped one.

Do these desks need to be plugged in?
